Here are some useful tips to help you prepare effectively for your
projects management examinations
- Do not study for pleasure: there are different levels of studying and the purpose of your studying should be planned towards succeeding at the examination you intend to write. The project management certification examinations are not for entertainment. Pay careful attention to detail while you study.
- Prepare Goal for each study time: before you begin your study each time, ensure you place a goal for the study. If you study with the PRINCE2 text, for example, you can make your goal to cover each chapter at each study time
- Study with practice: don’t study blankly, be sure to attempt chapter reviews and questions to help you get acquainted with the nature of questions to expect for your exams
- Avoid distractions: study in quiet environments, avoid studying in places where you will lack concentration to assimilate effectively. Also avoid creating your own distractions or mind wandering. At any time you reach your highest assimilation point, pause and take a break. After you are refreshed, you will regain energy to start off again.
